From 2011 to 2016, Ed served on the federal Advisory Commission on Childhood Vaccines, giving him rare insight into how the program is administered at the national level. He remains deeply involved in the Vaccine Injured Petitioners Bar Association as a board member, helping guide policy and mentor attorneys who practice in this specialized field.
Before dedicating himself full time to vaccine litigation, Ed spent more than two decades as a Clinical Professor of Law at Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he directed the Federal Health Litigation Clinic and trained future lawyers in complex health-related claims. A Georgetown Law graduate and Phi Beta Kappa University of Michigan alum, he lives just outside Chicago with his wife, Amy, and their yellow lab, Scout, and still catches as many Cubs games as possible.
