Bio

Anne Carrión Toale is a named partner at mctlaw and a national leader in vaccine injury litigation. For more than two decades she has practiced in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims’ Vaccine Injury Compensation Program, combining deep scientific understanding with relentless advocacy. As vice president of the Vaccine Injured Petitioners Bar Association (VIP Bar) and founder of its Appellate Advisory Council, she drives strategy, mentors attorneys, and helps shape precedent in complex vaccine cases.

Benefits of Membership

Join a network of experienced vaccine injury attorneys dedicated to collaboration and mentorship. Gain access to CLEs, national conferences, and a growing library of pleadings, motions, and case law. Support your clients with confidence—backed by the resources of the VIP Bar Association.

Her courtroom results speak for themselves. Early in her career Anne secured a lifetime award of $61 million for a child catastrophically injured by the DTaP vaccine—a scientifically intricate case that set a benchmark for future claims. She has continued to win high-value, medically complex cases while counseling families through the emotional and financial fallout of vaccine injuries, guided by an empathy honed over more than 30 years in practice.

Anne’s leadership extends beyond VIP Bar. She has served as president of the association, co-chaired the American Association for Justice Vaccine Injury Litigation Group, and earned invitations to the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Civil Trial Lawyers and the Products Liability Trial Lawyers Top 25. Her career path—from private practice to appellate attorney and state enforcement counsel—gives her a 360-degree view of litigation that few attorneys can match, and she brings that experience to every client she represents.
